Joseph Skoda III holds a PhD in Psychology, an MBA in Business Management and a BS in Aviation.
Joseph is a retired United States Air Force Officer serving over 21 years in various assignments around the world where he was trained and has experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Radar Operations, Command and Control Center Management, Space and Missiles Operations, Project Management and Personnel Services. He is also a licensed Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic and licensed CA Realtor.
He is currently a member of Toastmasters International where he served as the District 33 Director serving nearly 4000 Toastmasters Members. He has achieved the highest Educational Level, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) in a short amount of time with the organization. Joseph has provided training for various of topics over the course of his career. He has facilitated leadership programs to Civil Air Patrol cadets in the areas of team building, customer relations and general leadership development. As a veteran and commander of his local Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Posts, he routinely gives presentations on Veterans Issues and is an active member of Santa Maria Valley’s Honor Guard. He is an experienced marketer and coach. He works with small business and individual clients and helps them increase their success in businesses. He is co-founder of the Social Media Shows Network and has also founded GI-Connections.

The goal is to leave with a deeper understanding of what executive presence means and why it is important in the context of executive leadership to give skills and techniques that will increase one’s effectiveness inside and outside of the workplace.
Specifically, this class will help leaders obtain the ability to get others to follow you, get a knack for removing challenges and obstacles, while developing a sense of humility with an unwavering focus on a better focus for the future of their organization.
