Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I join a Mastermind Group?

There are many benefits to joining a formalized Mastermind Group. Research studies indicate that with all members sharing their failures and successes with one another, the group can help develop and operational ideas in a quicker fashion than working alone. More importantly, a mastermind group can be a setting where leaders can be challenged and feel uncomfortable in a low-risk environment which allows for breakthrough ideas. For more reasons why you mat want to consider joining, please read our WHY list here.

How is MATRIX different from a CEO Roundtable?

A CEO Roundtable is typically a more informal gathering of leaders to discuss current topics for 1-2 hours. A Mastermind group is professionally led and carefully curated with speaker workshops, member presentations, KPI deep dives, and an executive board session, where board members challenge each other and hold one another accountable to take their business and life to the next level. Meetings are up to 7 hours.

Who else is in the group?

Members of the group are carefully selected to ensure diversity, an important cultural match and compatibility with other members in the group. For a list of current members, please check out our membership page here.

How do leaders make time for this group?

This is your Answer section. Use it to answer the question and to highlight a personal touch that you bring to your business.

Do I have to attend all meetings?

We encourage members to attend all meetings and we do understand that, occasionally members will be absent due to conferences, sickness and other unavoidable engagements. Members typically schedule around their meeting time to ensure that they get and give maximum benefit from and to the group, respectively.

Will there be competitors in the group?

In order to be able to freely share in the group, we avoid members in competitive companies. Every new member is carefully vetted in order to ensure there is no conflict of interest.

Can I share Confidential Information?

Absolutely. The group vows to absolutely confidentiality. "What happens in the group, stays in the group." Because of this trust and confidentiality, we are able to share our KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), "messy" topics and private information.
