Vivid Vision: A Clear 3-Year Picture Your Team Can Actually Follow
A strong vision isn’t a slogan—it’s a shared picture that makes decisions easier.
In this 90–120 minute Rocket Masterminds workshop, we’ll use a simple framework (inspired by Cameron Herold’s “Vivid Vision” concept) to help CEOs turn “where we’re going” into something specific enough that leaders and teams can feel it—and execute it.

About Vivid Vision (the book)
Cameron Herold’s Vivid Vision is a practical framework for turning “where we’re going” into a clear, written picture of the company three years from now—so specific that people can make better day-to-day decisions without constant direction. Herold contrasts this with typical mission/vision statements, which are often too vague to guide behavior. A Vivid Vision is usually a short narrative document written in present tense, describing what the company will look like, act like, and feel like when the vision is already true.
The point isn’t to list goals. It’s to create shared clarity—a “future memory” your team can rally around, use to prioritize, and use to say no to distractions.
About Cameron Herold (why he is worth borrowing from)
Cameron Herold is a Canadian entrepreneur and author best known for popularizing this “Vivid Vision / Painted Picture” approach in fast-growth companies. He’s widely associated with helping scale 1-800-GOT-JUNK? during its growth years and later founded the COO Alliance (a peer community for second-in-command leaders).
